BLINK BLINK BZZZ BZZZ…!
Technologies that interact with our bodies have evolved significantly over the 20th century, shaping the way we perceive ourselves. From smartwatches and augmented glasses to garments that light up or vibrate, we are already approaching the concept of a "smart skin." But what functions do we truly want from technologies that come so close to our bodies? And what role should they play in our everyday lives?
In this E-Textile workshop, we explore both plausible and fantastical future scenarios. Through speculative design, we create fictional wearables that aim to support us in diverse and sometimes unexpected situations.
